Newport Beach resident Devin Doyle has owned and driven operations at Response Fire Supply in Santa Ana, California, since 2013. Beyond his sales responsibilities as president of Response Fire Supply, Devin Doyle spends time engaging with professional organizations such as the American Fire Sprinkler Association.

The American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) provides a variety of services in areas of education and professional training, including the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) Inspector Development program. The program has been developed through a combination of on the job training experiences and various on-demand and live training sessions. More importantly, the program has been designed explicitly to help professionals pass all National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technology (NICET) water-based inspection certification tests in less than 24 months.

Subjects of emphasis throughout the AFSA ITM Inspector Development program range from effective tips on screening applicants to thorough training in areas of record keeping. At www.firesprinkler.org, employers can learn more about the exam schedule and what kinds of employees make for the ideal student, including a series of practice exams to gauge aptitude.
